D-4 Attack Bonus*
The D-4 attack bonus that normally applies to a Ready action, also applies to a character that has a weapon drawn and aimed at a target before the beginning of a surprise round. Though technically you cannot have a ready action outside of a combat round, with this house rule, D-4 snipers have an advantage.
 
Surprised and Flatfooted Minions*
A successful attack on a surprised and flat-footed minion is an automatic critical hit. The player does not need to use any Action Dice to activate the critical hit.
